It all began with a cassette tape, forgotten in the back of a drawer. No cover. The handwriting on its label had long faded, and a loose ribbon of tape spilled out from the side. But the moment we slotted a pencil into the gear and wound it back, turn by turn, the gesture itself struck something in us. Some things, it turns out, are meant to be done by hand. Nearly every idea behind this keycap set grew out of that single moment. Following that one tape, we turned our gaze to the entire world of analog audio behind it.
